ROUTE 66 & NTHP Efforts

There are several KHS65 members who are aficionados of Route 66 geography, lore, and history, myself included. Route 66 goes right by many areas and sites that we frequented as kids and teens in the mid '60s. It turns out that the National Trust for Historic Preservation has just put Route 66 buildings on its current list of 11 most endangered places. They have a campaign for individuals to donate $11 toward the 11 most endangered place revitalization, not such a bad amount!
