We seem to all be suffering a common problem these days, WHERE DID OUR LIVES GO? Our brains seem to still be 18, but our bodies are talking a different language. Sarah Orne Jewett puts it much more eloquently than do I:

“Neither of my companions was troubled by her burden of years. I hoped in my heart that I might be like them as I lived on into age, and then smiled to think that I too was no longer very young. So we always keep the same hearts, though our outer framework fails and shows the touch of time.”

MODEL RAILROADING IN KIRKWOOD STARS ONE OF OUR OWN

Bob O'Neill has been a railroad buff for a long time. His own rail layout in his home is fantastic and he donates a good deal of his time to the trains at the National Museum of Transport right in Kirkwood. He's not KHS65's only train buff, Dave Beardsley figures in there too and I'm sure others. GO HERE to see the latest PR on the Kirkwood area group keeping training alive! Click on the photo to enlarge it, but beware, the caption is incorrect. Bob is the first smiling face on the left and they have mis-spelled his name... check it out. And if you need something fun and educational to do with your grandchildren, be sure to head out Barrett Station Road to the Museum of Transport, they have party facilities, and a great deal of interactive exhibits to delight young and old alike. The Museum's website is great, full of information and photos, check it out! Bob is another true KHS65 STAR - thanks for making us look good Bob!
