We seem to all be suffering a common problem these days, WHERE DID OUR LIVES GO? Our brains seem to still be 18, but our bodies are talking a different language. Sarah Orne Jewett puts it much more eloquently than do I:

“Neither of my companions was troubled by her burden of years. I hoped in my heart that I might be like them as I lived on into age, and then smiled to think that I too was no longer very young. So we always keep the same hearts, though our outer framework fails and shows the touch of time.”

MICKEY (MIC) MARIETTA NEEDS OUR PRAYERS

I have just learned, courtesy of Ken McBride, that Mickey Marietta has suffered a brain aneurysm and is hospitalized, paralized. Apparently he is lucid and his wife thinks he would enjoy hearing from his old friends and classmates. Please send him pictures, cards, letters, etc. at 15075 State Route H, St. James, MO 65559. The home phone # is 573 699 4938. Our thoughts and prayers are with him - many of us Robinsonites remember Mickey from way back when, as kids on the streets around Thebe's Market! God Bless....
